It a is parent hospital of nursing college.
It very old famous hospital for maternity. As we flip back our history book, way back in 1911
St. Joseph's Hospital, Nellore was founded. Moved by deep concern and love for the poor, sick and suffering, Sr. Louise van de a Dutch sister by birth became the pioneer of this institution. She devoted all her time, energy and Talent to attend to the needs of the people of Nellore. From a humble beginning of 2 bedded maternity centre, the institution has grown into a large mansion of 200 bed hospital, with different specialties.

Spurred by our Master's Call to “Love God Above All and to Love your Neighbor As Yourself” We the Society of Jesus Mary Joseph prepare our youth who join our Institution to Perceive different Nursing Courses to march ”TOWARDS UNIVERSAL FRATERNITY”. Looking forward to Academic excellence and Quality service our Team render the service tirelessly as one body.. Walking together with the sick, suffering and the needy, participating in their health care needs in the hospital, Community and at home without making any differences the young minds are molded to be Active participants in the health care system.
Being sent to live the Spirit of Ever Adaptable Apostolic Availability in our Mission we prepare the young students to Integrate the Motto of LOVE, CARE , SHARE to reach the ultimate goal of Holistic Health care to the sick and suffering . Acknowledging the degeneration of human value system, humanity and disintegration of body, mind relationship amidst hitech living and technological development we emphasize not only on the University prescribed syllabus but also behavioral modification, inculcating moral, ethical and spiritual values in the youth to enjoy optimum health for themselves for a Productive and successful life.
